Customer lists

Where can I buy a B2B customer list in the UK?

You can buy a targeted B2B customer list from Prospecting.Business: one-off packages of 10, 15 or 20 leads for £49, £69 or £99, with UK companies checked against the Companies House register and a personalised cold email drafted for every lead. No subscription, and credits never expire.

What do you get in a Prospecting.Business customer list?

Two ways to build a list. Website analysis — paste your URL and AI models your ideal customer profile to find matching companies. Each lead includes:

  • A named company matched to your ideal customer profile
  • Companies House registry check for every UK company — registered name, active status, registered office and listed directors, with a verified badge on confirmed matches
  • A decision-maker contact with an honest source label — emails are only marked verified when found on the company’s own website with valid mail records
  • A personalised cold outreach email drafted for that specific lead
  • CSV export, plus push to HubSpot or Mailchimp

Industry search — pick a SIC code and search the live Companies House register directly. Returns registered company name, number, incorporation date, and registered address from the official record. Useful when you already know your target sector and want a clean register list to work from.

How much does a B2B customer list cost?

Prospecting.Business sells customer lists as one-off packages — there is no subscription and no recurring charge:

PackagePricePer lead
10 lead credits£49£4.90
15 lead credits£69£4.60
20 lead credits£99£4.95

Credits never expire, and a free account includes your first 3 search results at no cost. See full pricing.

Should you buy a resold list or generate one?

Traditional data brokers resell records from large static databases. Generated lists are built per business, at the moment you ask, from your own positioning. The differences matter:

The "Website analysis list" column covers AI-generated leads from website analysis — company match, decision-maker contact, personalised outreach email, and CSV export. Industry search (available on all accounts, no credits required) queries the Companies House register directly by SIC code and returns register fields only — company name, number, incorporation date, and address.

How is the data verified?

Every UK company on your list is looked up in Companies House — the UK government’s official register — through its live API. A confirmed active match earns a registry-verified badge; a lead without the badge has no registry confirmation behind it, and we say so. Contact details carry honest source labels: an email is only marked verified when it is found on the company’s own website and the domain’s mail records check out. Nothing is passed off as verified unless it is, and data is not auto-refreshed — you can re-verify a search on demand for one credit. Read how we verify our data.

Customer list FAQs

How much does a B2B customer list cost in the UK?

On Prospecting.Business, customer lists are one-off packages: 10 leads for £49, 15 leads for £69, or 20 leads for £99. There is no subscription and credits never expire. Traditional data brokers typically sell bulk lists priced per thousand records, but those records are pulled from static databases rather than generated for your business.

Is it legal to buy a B2B customer list in the UK?

B2B prospecting data can be used lawfully in the UK when you have a legitimate interest, keep records of your assessment, and honour opt-outs. Prospecting.Business generates business contact details (companies, directors, business email addresses) rather than consumer data, and you remain the data controller for how you use the list.

How is the data on a Prospecting.Business customer list verified?

Every UK company on your list is looked up in the live Companies House API. Leads with a confirmed active match carry a registry-verified badge showing the registered name, active status, registered office and listed directors. Contact emails are only labelled verified when found on the company’s own website with valid mail records — otherwise they are honestly labelled as estimates.

Can I try before buying a customer list?

Yes. The free demo lets you paste your website URL and watch the AI build your ideal customer profile without an account, and a free account includes your first 3 search results at no cost — no credit card required.

Is the customer list data refreshed automatically?

No — lists are generated fresh at the time you run an analysis, and the data is not auto-refreshed afterwards. If you want to re-check a search later, you can re-verify it on demand for one credit.
